QPS - QT frontend for ps
In a clearly designed window the output of ps is shown. PS the process status reporter gets its own X-frontend.
Based on the Qt-libraries the shellprogram ps has its own window now.
Use menus to configure how often the data will be refreshed and which processes should be shown.
You can send also signals comfortably to the individual processes, e.g. kill a process.
In addition the window shows the CPU-, memory- and swapusage so you can use this instead of xvload.
You need the Qt-library (version
1.30 or higher) to install qps.
An adaptation for KDE has already been in work and got the name
KPM.
